Strange message received in iTunes

This is the second time I received this message in iTunes, “Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked”, when I plugged in my iPhone. I’m using iPhone 3G, purchased from SingTel, so it’s factory unlocked. Here’s the screenshot …

  1. I also got this message – it appeared when I plugged in the phone when it was “dead”…i.e. when the battery level is red and the phone won’t switch on anymore/it will only show the red battery and charger icons basically begging you for power!

    I got the same… and now that I think about it, mine was dead power too.
